LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Association for Deputy Sheriffs recently announced its endorsement of Advocates for Malibu Public Schools (AMPS) Co-Founder Karen Farrer in her campaign for Malibu City Council.
“Karen Farrer’s top priority is keeping Malibu safe,” said ALADS President Ron Hernandez. “Her proven track record of volunteering, organizing, and advocating on behalf of Malibu as well as her support of the men and women of the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs make her an ideal choice for Malibu City Council. Karen will work with us to ensure the safety of our families and neighborhoods.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs,” Farrer said. “Keeping Malibu safe is my top priority. When I am elected to city council I will work with our deputy sheriffs to ensure Malibu is protected.”
The Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs is the largest association of deputy sheriffs and district attorney investigators in the United States, currently representing more than 7,800 sworn law enforcement officers.
